The element size should be chosen in such fashion, that under the given load, the maximum allowed operational pressure of 5 to 6 bar is not exceeded. The overlaying maximum dynamic load should also not transgress the maximum allowed operational load. Best isolation grades are achieved, if over-dimensioning is avoided.
Including screw DIN 933/ISO 4017, large nut DIN 934 and small washer DIN 125/ISO 7089 for fastening the air-cushion vibration damper to the machine.
By default, the air-cushion vibration dampers FLN are supplied in a pressure-less state. After mounting, height H is adjusted by administering compressed air, with a maximum of 5 bar respectively 6 bar, in a range of +/- 5 mm respectively +/- 6 mm.
Prior to de-loading, the element must be completey de-ventilated.
important notes relating to the air-cushion dampers of the series FLN:
The assembly instruction has to be adhered to.
For the air-cushion dampers of the series FLN, it is compulsory to fasten them to the to-be-isolated machine via the included mounting screw DIN 933 ( refer to assembly instruction ).
We strongly recommend the general application of the optional mounting plates, for a full-faced covering of the air-cushion dampers. This facilitates protection against sinking-in, should a loss of pressur occur.
The product-related parameters levelling range, operational pressure and load must not be exceeded.
A regular check of the air pressure is mandatory - as a minimum, we recommend a quarterly inspection.
On request a suitable pressure regulation control unit is available.
Temperature range between 0°C und 50°C.
Should the product be used in an outdoors application, it has to be noted that a faster ageing of the elastomers occurs as compared to an indoors application, hence a regular checking for replacement necessity is recommended.
Within the EU, the legal guaranty & warranty claims are applicable within two years from date of dispatch.
Outside the EU, claims can be made up to 6 months after purchase.
The legal guaranty & warranty claims - even during the legal claim period - will be non-applicable, if
- the device is not operated according to the operation manual
- the device is operated inappropriately
- the device has been opened and / or the related electronics have been altered ( also applicable when an unauthorized repair has been executed )
